Day in Hotel Biokovo
The hotel location is excellent. It is virtually across the road from the high speed ferry dock. Martin on reception was professional and helpful. The room was spacious and it had a French balcony that allowed you to enjoy the sea view and promanade activities. There is a restaurant which was very busy and buzzie but I did not dine there. There was a good buffet breakfast available. I was there early so the buffet was bountiful. I had a good night's sleep and was bright eyed and ready to head out early the next morning.

The location and view is the best in Makarska! In the afternoon we would sit on our balcony and watch all the boats return to the harbour and had a perfect view of the promenade. The breakfast was good and we were served a huge omelette which was very tasty. The hotel is right next door to many restaurants and a short walk(5-10 minutes) to the beach. Also only a few minutes walk to catch the ferry, which was really convenient.

Ilce

The hotel is located right in the city center, but it was relatively far from the beach that we liked. There are a lot of restaurants nearby, the main promenade is five minutes from the hotel. The room was very spacious and clean, we liked the terrace with a mountain view. Also the breakfast was delicious and varied.

Good hotel near ferry and beach. Air conditioning worked well in the room and in hotel in general. Good selection at breakfast. Wi-Fi OK but a bit variable in my room. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby.

Great location, ability to use the swimming pool at the hotel’s sister property nearby, plentiful and varied breakfast, comfortable bed. This was our second stay, and we would return.
